Better than the 221s

I've had several pair of 221 shorts and was satisfied with them. But they would sometimes pinch the "boys". The two extra strips of elastic ( Flex Pocket Retention System) attached to the cup pocket make all the difference in the world. Makes you forget you've got a cup on. Now my only choice.

Well made option for athletic support/protection. Sliding pants might be a bit of an exaggeration - hip padding is negligible. (Mizuno sliding pants are much thicker.
Overall fit is small, I recommend sizing up.
