    I've had several pair of 221 shorts and was satisfied with them. But they would sometimes pinch the "boys". The two extra strips of elastic ( Flex Pocket Retention System) attached to the cup pocket make all the difference in the world. Makes you forget you've got a cup on. Now my only choice.

    Cup pocket not the best

    The cup pocket isnt the best, the cup slides up and can be annoying if you bend down or crouch or do any complex athletic maneuvers. Read a similar review and it does work better if you use the cup under the shorts but that totally defeats the purpose of the shorts. The cup is a good cup and I basically use it with other compression shorts. Not the quality I was looking for.

    Cup doesn't fit

    The place holder for the cup is not low enough and your terstacles don't fit inside the cup. I ended up having to place the cup inside the shorts and it worked that way because the shorts are tight enought to hold it in place.

    Does not protect when squatting

    The cup does not protect you when catching or when fielding ground balls. Does not work like the old item #260-02 "ultra catcher slider" i had for over 10yrs and finally torn but the cup still protects you.
