Multiple Holes After 3 Months

My son loved these sneakers and they fit comfortably but they developed holes quickly. After 1 month of wear both sneakers had "air holes" in the tops. After 3 months of wear the 3rd (and final) hole appeared on the sole of one of the sneakers. I really liked the look and fit of these, but they only lasted the spring (when I was hoping they would last spring and summer).
