Good for thick feet.. we went through 3 other pairs of sneakers and the Velcro was too short on all of them but these fit great !

Destroyed in 3 months

I bought these shoes on May 21st and I am writing this review on August 20th. My 7 yr old has completely destroyed these shoes in less then 3 months. I don't usually write reviews but wanted other parents to be aware that these shoes are not durable for regular child play. My son was not even in school during this time and was in 4 weeks of summer sport camp at a beginner level. By two months the fronts were completely rubbed off, the sole was pulling away from the shoe and by 3 months there are holes in the bottom. This was the first and last pair of sketchers we will buy in this house. See photos. We usually have shoes that last an entire school year, not 3 months.
