Stiff and uncomfortable

I've been wearing these slippers as much as I can for over a month now. They are very well constructed but I still find them very stiff and uncomfortable. I can only stand to wear them for a couple of hours at a time. Normally I find Sketchers products very comfortable, but not these slippers.
