Lovely color

I got the heather red and i think its a lovely color and a very comfy fit for my larger head and hair. Can be worn folded or without a fold. So glad I got this!

Good hat, igonre the gimmick of it being reversible

Don't buy this for the reversible feature, you'll pick one side and forget the other exists. Buy it because the merino wool actually delivers. It regulates temperature better than any synthetic I've tried, stays odor-free, and feels genuinely soft against your forehead and ears without being itchy.
The warmth is real but not extreme, great for fall hiking, cold travel days, and moderate winter temps. If you're heading into serious cold, layer it.

Great light/medium layer able touque

It is Very comfortable. The material is more akin to a heavy base or mid layer sweater than a typical touque "knit". It also layers very easily/comfortably (as the bottom layer) which is not something that touques usually do.
