These socks are amazing for hiking and they don't seem to fall down. They also breath well and have extra fabric where you need it to prevent sores.

I've had heavy duty Smartwool socks before--the kind I would only wear for cold weather and outdoor activities--but I just put in my first order for some merino wool, finer weave, that I might wear everyday. And I"m sold. On the looks, the comfort, and the quality. I will, indeed, wear them everyday. And also for outdoor activities including hiking; they have a good cushion to them.

I waited years to try these because I thought they were too expensive. I absolutely regret that. Worth it all day. Super soft. Super warm without being sweaty. I ordered three more pairs.
