    Perfect size for close quarters

    I'm a lifetime outdoors explorer and this is a great little device. It's hard to beat the cheap standard machete found all over the world, but this little tool is exceeds expectations. When I go fishing and I'm locating new river access, I bring this along and it works great. Good tool. Good construction. Going to buy a couple for my field crew.

    I'm so impressed with this machete. I've been using it for around the yard jobs. Well balanced and very sharp. Ive taken down 6 in diameter trees with it. I believe its been 2 years and it needs just a bit of sharpening to make it more like new. That was shave the arm hair sharp.

    Bought it for getting rid of weeds, the blade came incredibly sharp and both the blade and the saw cut down weeds with ease, had a weed about a half inch thick, took it down with one hit. Hit a rock with it once and only left a small knick.

    Used this to clear some trails and tree limbs for deer stands. Overall, I like it and I think it works great! I find a lot of negative reviews for tools are typically by people not using the tool for it's intended purpose. This is a small machete which is very handy for small camp/woodwork clearing small vegetation. It is not going to chop down a forest or clear bamboo but for a camp tool it is awesome. Would highly recommend. Especially in the kit version. I have found all of these tools very useful for the price.

    Sharing a machete with my pack for the words of been the standard operating procedure since I was in Korea with the Army Infantry. This is my favorite to date with the grip and the full length serrated edge on the backside which hasn't met it's match yet within reasonable expectations. Sog impressed me once again!

    I've had this machete for a couple of years now. It's a handy tool that I carry with me everywhere next to the middle seat of my Toyota Highlander. I've used it for all kinds of cutting and sawing. It's a great value that's held up well. I just wish I could get a sharper edge on it.

    We live inside a National Forest where dog hobble and plenty of brush surrounds us. As we like to bushwhack a bit, the 13" machete is the perfect tool, light weight, sharp and with the saw on top, it really helps keep trails clear. Highly recommended.
