    PERFECT POCKET KNIFE

The Terminus is a very functional knife, using beautiful hardwood scales transforms into a must have!! The walnut version was sold out for many months...I had no choice.

Has replaced my Spyderco rescue as my off duty everyday knife. Wood is a wonderful/classy touch

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Great knife, looks huge, but not when it lays in your hand--I have other versions with metal 'housing', they all work great--the walnut is a nice feature

I purchased this knife for myself but as I was using it while helping my friend move into a new place, she borrowed it and liked it so much I gave it to her as a housewarming gift. I should have bought two. :(

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Not only is it a Gentlemen knife, it’s just as effective as all other Terminus. I highly recommend this for EDC, along with a good attitude, De-escalation (training) and style. Don’t forget your other EDC devices.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Wood is rare now, and this is a great contrast

Love the knife—What I was concerned about, but no longer is the condition of the wood. It was dry. REALLY dry. I’ve applied three applications of Boos cutting board oils into it and it’s just soaked it up as though it was starved for conditioning. I was concerned it would splinter or chip without attention. It was almost like driftwood. It is beautiful now. Gorgeous now. But I will likely have to keep it well oiled to keep it well conditioned. The mechanics of the knife? Very good. And after a week of mindlessly flipping it open, it’s a bit looser.

I bought this knife as a gift for my son. He loves it. He really likes the wooden handle. I had it engraved with his name and Happy Birthday. He thought that was pretty cool. He loves the overall looks and feel.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

I love the beauty of wood, so I jump at chances to have wood-scaled knives. Especially if they're NOT the generic, cheap, ubiquitous 'rosewood,' 'bubinga', or whatever other darn-near-identical wood that's reddish orange and being harvested in some economically poor country in South America or Africa. The SOG Terminus is better than that. But still not distinctively better. The description said walnut, so I was doubly hopeful and interested. Upon delivery of the knife (high hopes) I found the wood to be ... well... wood. Yup, it's wood alright. Nothing special, nothing distinctively 'walnutty.' I don't doubt that it's walnut. I just had high hopes. The rest of the knife parts constitute... well... a knife. Nice. OK. Good quality. But fairly middle of the pack. I'd sure like it if some more knife companies used birch, maple, cherry, ebony, olive... something distinctively unique and beautiful. I know, I know - it'd cost more. But how much more could it cost when you can probably get 10,000 knife scales out of one good quality tree? Not trying to stomp on SOG or this particular knife. Just addressing an opinion to the knife industry. Sorry, but meh.
