SOG Trident MK3 Folding Knife

Best knife I’ve ever owned, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a knife

I bought mine about 2 months after these were released because my previous SOG Trident fell out of a pocket and was lost, I bought it based on some features I liked more than the original, such as the steel in the grip. Overall the opening and locking mechanisms are the most crisp I've ever used, far more so than the gerber my dad used to use. As a result he also bought one. I have absolutely abused this knife, if it had failed it would've been on me, but it hasn't, it stays sharp pretty well, the blade is solid, the lock is very solid. Durability is great, and I will likely by another whenever this one succumbs.

My knife is rusting and it barely touched any water

Excellent quality and design. I would have given 5 stars but it took over a month to receive. I spoke with Donna in customer service twice, she was very helpful in locating my order and getting it moving.

This is my second SOG and I still have a use the first one. Purchased second bc #1 is getting tired after 5yrs. of constant use and sharpening. I was just as pleased with the construction and materials but this new knife has the same flaws as the first and worse don't get dirt in the activation! It's impossible to open with the assist and takes two hands to open and forever to clean. Making opening assist, which was main reason of purchase inoperable.

Beautiful knife but I wanted something smaller and sport cheks measurements are wrong, they need to put cm instead of mm. This isn’t a smaller knife, it’s about 20-25cm in length opened (approx guess as I don’t have a ruler). If I wasn’t looking for a smaller knife I would’ve kept it as it is beautiful, sharp, very sturdy.
