    Its pretty but tough

Bought this in March of last year and didn't feel the need to review until someone gave me a Benchmade Bugout, which they guaranteed I would love. People commented on the Twitch seeming cheap or flimsy but that is nonsense. I use this knife everywhere and none of the materials have failed. I fished all year with it and the assist opening makes a big difference especially when i'm alone on the boat I need two hands all the time. This knife is extremely easy to open and can cut line like any of the bigger knives I have. One critical test is its ability to cut braid which is a pain because it's tough with a thin diameter. This blade catches it quickly and slices easily and cleanly with no fraying. The action on this is also quick but in control, like it won't jump out of your hand. The steel is solid, hasn't rusted, holds an edge well, and takes a beating. The point is great for cleaning up hook eyes as well. All in all I have yet to find a knife with better build and function at this price.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Good EDC with one small problem

Great little edc knife that has one drawback. The steel is good quality, it arrives razor sharp, easy to touch-up quickly. Good size for most things. One drawback is the handles are too slick, and it would greatly benefit from texturing to give better grip. G-10 or micarta would be great options. Love to see a version of the Twitch III with grippy scales and S35v or CPM154 (though SOG’s cryo treated 154CM is not bad at all). Overall it’s a solid small edc “gentleman’s” knife that works well for most edc tasks. Similar to the Kershaw Leek, but better.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Comes out of the clamshell razor sharp, flick of the flipper tab and it snaps open with a solid clunk. Aluminum sides are too polished, with no grip or texture whatsoever. This knife needs some form of grip enhancer or texturing on scales of the handle. Otherwise a great knife.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Twitch III - Gray

Purchased this knife a few weeks ago and it is a nice knife. Owning 3 other SOG knives, I was expecting top quality as the previous knives met. With this knife, it did have a small defect on the handle finish and the belt clip seems to be sprung, will not rest on the handle to ensure the knife will not slip out of pocket. Should have returned it, but did not want to go through the hassle.
