The cord for the necklace doubles as tinder when it's absent, AND it has a built-in bottle opener! The price-point is great, especially when it's a multipurpose tool. This is a must-have for hikers and campers, or even in an emergency kit.

It’s very convenient and very easy to pack into our supplies. Small and super handy. It throws big sparks so whatever we are lighting lights very fast. I like using it to light campfires or even light the grill. Very useful tool for our outings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got to try this "SOL MAG Striker with Tinder Cord" for FREE in exchange for my honest opinion, thanks to Influenster! I think this product is a pretty good value for your money. It is definitely something I keep in my emergency bag, car , or while camping! It has so many benefits, one of my favorite being that it is pocket sized, with a tinder cord lanyard. Which doubles as tinder if you need it to start a fire. The striker comes in handy in case your lighter quits or your matches get wet!
