Had to buy again

I legit loved these so much that when my first pair bit the dust, I had to buy a second pair. These are amazing, and they hold up so well. I also wanted something that was low cut because I walk a lot and didn't want to be hindered by taller boots, and I hated all of the bulky styles that have become popular lately. It's so difficult finding a short rain boot that isn't bulky. This is THE boot for that purpose. Love love love.

Emelie booties

Waterproof black ankle boots. Nice staple for wardrobe and functional for the couple of blocks walk to and from work and lot. Boots comfortable for all day wear on concrete floors. Ordered 1/2 size larger in order to wear thicker wool socks for this winter/spring slush season.

Wish I could love this boot

Love the style and the boot has truly lived up to the waterproof claims. I've stepped in many puddles and walked through slush with no water seeping through even after a year of wear. My problem with this boot is that the inserts glued to the heel started peeling off within two months of use. I would expect more from a pair of shoes at this price. It has maintained quite well otherwise. I would keep wearing them if it weren't for the peeled heels which makes them look very shabby and cheap. I would have given this a three star if the boot had any kind of arch support. As an FYI and not a critique - the mouth of the boot is quite wide which will look strange if you're wearing pants that are in between a boot cut and skinny and can't be tucked in or loosely draped over the ankle.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Purchased the next generation of Emelie boots

This is my second pair of Emelie boots. I loved my first pair but a screw popped up inside the heel of the boot. It was not able to be repaired. Mt previous boots were the Emelie 2 modeI and I had worn them for about 3 years. I am hoping that doesn’t happen to the new boots.
I love the great traction, waterproofness, comfort and look of these boots. I looked at several other brands and couldn’t find anything to replace the Emelies, thus my purchase of the Emilie 3 model.
