    Where I live (Washington DC) we don't get crazy amounts of snow, but we will have the occasional winter storm and get 6-10 inches or so. I needed a boot to keep my feet warm and dry when I walk my dog, run errands, etc. But I didn't need super heavy duty boot to shovel snow in. I chose this because I liked that the shaft wasn't too high, so I could still wear it with most of my pants. We just had a winter storm. The snow was deep enough that it covered my entire boot and yet they kept my feet SUPER warm and I didn't feel slippery when walking on ice. The waterproof material kept my feet dry, and they are also SUPER CUTE! I am a true 7.5 (according to the size chart; my feet are 24 cm), but I still ordered a size 8 based on reviews saying it ran small, and I think I made the right decision. I think if I ordered my exact size I wouldn't have room to wear thick socks.

These fit great, amazing quality and seem like they'll be warm and keep my feet dry during the Midwest cold and snow. I am very happy to have got a pair of sorel boots!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have received this product for free from Ona Ave and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. When I think of snow boots, I think of a very stiff and heavy boot. These boots, are the exact opposite. These boots are made of suede, leather with the faux fur trim. This faux fur goes all through the interior and keeps your feet so warm and comfortable. It is honestly like wearing a pair of slippers. These boots are extremely well-made and sturdy. They have a flat heel with a rounded toe and a rubber sole. I cannot wait until the seasons change and I will be able to wear these boots in the wet/snowy weather. I just know that they will keep my feet warm and dry. I feel these are true to size, but if you’d like to wear a very heavy and thick sock, I might suggest that you order a 1/2 size up. These boots may be pricey for some people, but I think with the quality you are getting with them, that it is worth the extra money .
