I've only worn these about 4 times, but so far so good. I chose them because I saw another reviewer note casual walking as well as hiking in them, including falling into a frozen lake, and they stayed relatively waterproof. I have not tested those limits yet but after a few more weeks of winter in Wyoming, maybe I'll know. I haven't worn them in a heavy snow storm but for walking around icy and wet sidewalks, they have held up well and still look like new. I ordered a half size up (8) as many people suggested, and they fit fine, but I might have been able to get away with my regular size 7.5

I love my Tivoli boots! Warm, comfortable and beautiful. I have a narrow foot. Though Sorel recommends sizing up a full size, I only sized up a half size. Even so, they are a bit too big even with heavy socks. I would have done better staying with my normal size. So if you have a narrow foot, beware of sizing up. Otherwise, they are perfect!

Stellar performance in Iceland

Last 24 hours of a week in Iceland - up and down gravel walks - in a bus with legs dangling - walked over 5 miles in one morning sightseeing - had only worn them one afternoon prior to this trip but so impressed I had to take time to write this review - Absolutely no rubbing, no break-in period - Only once, at night from 11 PM, standing on cold ground for over two hours to catch the lights and not wearing heavy socks, toes got cold but otherwise dry, comfortably warm without feeling overheated. Highly recommend - wear a 39 in Danskos but these are a 40.5 or 9.5

Great Around the Town Boot

Bought these at a local shop, absolutely in love with them. They definitely run small so sizing up at least 1/2 a size is a good idea. I was going to purchase the grey pair but when I saw the olive pair in person they were much more my style. I recommend these as a great around the town boot or light hike/walk.
