Looks great but doesn't fit in gear

Just got this in the mail. It looks great, but when I had my wife try it on with her gear it didn't fit over the gear. The shoulders fit, but the elbows are too narrow for actual elbow pads. It would be nice if in the description it said something about that. Other than that it looks really good. Have to return for other one I think.
