I own three Base Camp duffels. Toughest bags on the planet! I get tired of "influencers" giving the glory to Patagonia. I previously owned two Patagonia Black Hole duffels. While they were indeed better than box store brands, they couldn't compare to the incredibly durable build of North Face. Just bought another Base Camp in the 2-tone brown. Really like these nature-inspired earth-tones and prefer them to the bright, gaudy colors. If there's one improvement that North Face could make, it's to add a carry handle and/or shoulder strap to this duffel.

I love these durable colorful duffels. This is my family's 3rd one. The hold up well to travel.

I got this bag to use as my one and only check bag for frequent ski trips out west. It’s the perfect size to maximize capacity without going oversize (the XXL is too big). I get all my gear including boots along with all my clothes for the trip, toiletries and anything else I need in there with room to spare. It’s tough so it looks like it will stand up to careless airport baggage handlers and it has many ways to carry it (handles, backpack straps, etc). The only thing I wish it had was a shoulder strap but one could probably be put on. Great bag and even better value on sale. I bought the XL and the M.

This duffle bag is everything I was looking for and more. It is spacious enough to fit several days' worth of clothes, shoes, and essentials. The shoulder straps are a game-changer and are super comfortable, even with the bag is fully packed. The build quality is excellent. Durable materials, smooth and sturdy zippers, with strong stitching throughout. It has the right number of compartments to keep things organized without overcomplicating the design. Highly recommend for travel or weekend getaways!!
