The North Face Men's 1996 Retro Nuptse Puffer Jacket

Definitely my go to winter jacket of all time! Don't matter what age you are, this jacket is stylish and versatile, you can wear it with jeans, sweatpants, or even shorts! Got a lot of compliments! I'm 5'7" and weight about 160, wearing a men size Small and still have enough room for a hoodie underneath!

If you prefer a more fitted look, consider sizing down. Packed with 700-fill goose down, this jacket is impressively warm without feeling overly bulky. It holds up well against cold temperatures, even in windy conditions. The stowable hood is a great addition, offering extra protection when needed. The outer shell is made of ripstop nylon with a water-repellent finish, making it both durable and resistant to light rain or snow. The quality feels premium, and I expect this jacket to last for years.

Love this jacket. I was worried about the reports that it's "short" I'm 5'9" with a longer torso and short legs(30-32 inseam) and the jacket came to just below my belt line. It's definitely a jacket for car camping, walks around town, etc. This ISN'T a summit series jacket and is defiantly not built as a belay jacket which I think some get confused. For me, after hitting the slopes and a bit sweaty, I pull this out of my pack, fluff it up(it folds into its own pocket and packs very small) and put it on going in and out of the lodge before the sweat get cold and drops my body temp.

I've been wanting this coat for long time and finally bought it. I've gotten at least 3 compliments on it and the fit is roomy and WARM. By far the warmest coat I've ever owned.

I brought this coat to match some sneakers and it's not just stylish it's so warm. The coat is not too puffy and it's easy to drive with. I highly recommend with this extremely cold weather. I would definitely buy another one in another color.
