    A wee bit narrow

I've had these shoes for just over two weeks now. I suffer from posterior tibialis tendinitis in both ankles. Walking for more than a couple of miles usually keeps me off my feet the next day. I can now walk the same distance, and more, wearing these shoes. I wish I had these years ago. The rocker bottom is working weakened calf muscles that are now starting to take the load off the ankle/foot tendons. It took little time to get used to the rocker feel. Just don't stand with your back to a cliff edge, lest you rock a wee bit too much and go over the side. My only complaint is they are very snug in the forefoot/toe box. I have a big toe bunion and it gets aggravated. Not as cushy as I would have liked but having a high arch, I have finicky feet. But I can now walk for an hour on flat terrain. The rocker helps a lot on hilly terrain, too, which is a definite bonus. I wasn't crazy about the camo look at first but in person, it's a handsome shoe. Well done, North Face, but give a wider size.

    Beware of Sizing!

Unfortunately I purchased these at a huge discount around Black Friday and had them in storage for months before every trying them on. I have had several pairs of North Face trail running shoes in the same size (10.5 US) that fit perfectly - these, however, fit far too narrow near the toe and have proved so painful and uncomfortable as to be unwearable. It's a big surprise to me that the same brand makes shoes that are sized and fit so differently. Overall a big disappointment.
