The high-rebound, single-density EVA midsole in these hiking shoes absorbs impact and provides improved cushioning.

An Awesome Hiking Boot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took these out for the first time on a 12 mile hike on and off the PCT in San Diego County. Very rocky trail and about 4,000 feet of up and down. These awesome and very lightweight hiking boots were the equivalent of very nimble and sturdy off-road tires on a rocky road. They handled perfectly and are exceptionally stable and comfortable boots. I'm super impressed with the Vectiv platform--such a stable and comfortable ride. Looking forward to more days on the trail with these. I also have the same model in a hiking shoe, but felt I needed the extra ankle support.
