Excellent Tent

This tent has been wonderful. Already been through one heavy heavy rainstorm. Also because the rain fly covers more ground it creates a little entrance on both sides of the tent at the doors which makes it very reasonable for 2 people even though it is a fairly small tent. For backcountry, I recommend swapping the steel tent pegs for aluminum to cut down on weight. It also only comes with 10 pegs, but would really work better with 12. It have more time down straps then pegs.

Terrible customer service

I ordered online, and it was listed as a 2 person tent. As soon as the payment went through, the description changed to 1 person tent. I filled out the form on customer service asking about this, and no one ever got back to me. I called customer service, and they didn't know. It was supposed to ship in 2-3 business days. I called after a week, and the agent said that it was being shipped from Winnipeg. I live near Newmarket, On. He said that I would get an email shortly with tracking number. I checked again a few days later, and saw that I could order one for pickup in Newmarket and it would be ready within an hour, so I did that. When I called to cancel the first order, the agent asked for the order number, which I had already input. I told him that I had already supplied that information, and then he found it immediately. Absolutely terrible customer service all around. When I went to look at the terms and conditions for submitting this review, it sent me to a page that didn't show the terms and conditions, so I guess I'll just click the agree button. Pathetic.

The North Face Stormbreak 2 tent

Perfect tent. Fits 2 people nicely with room outside for backpacks to be placed under the vestibule. The full fly covers the entire tent. Size of the tent when I. The bag is fairly minimal. It is average for overall weight.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Price and quality are hard to match

Absolutely love my Stormbreak 2. After having the Stormbreak 1 for two years and having over 50 night in it. I waited for the Stormbreak 2 to go on sale with no luck. I will say that it is worth every penny! And would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a little more space. Is a matter of minutes to setup and take down. Dual vestibules and doors make drying things before packing a matter of minutes.  It is exactly what I was  looking for in terms of a tent for shorter distance over night adventures.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Garbage zipper, bad design.

I bought the Stormbreak 2 to replace my North Face Talus 2, which I had for 10+ years, and had worn out. The Talus 2 was excellent, but I'm really disappointed with the Stormbreak 2. The door flap design is really poor, and the zipper is constantly getting stuck. It's also disappointing because the Talus 2 was cheaper and also included the footprint, which is sold separately with the Stormbreak. More expensive, worse design, crappy zippers. I give this tent a major thumbs down.
