[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this product for my son who is 15 months. We live in the Chicago suburbs so it gets very cold. This jacket works great for daily winter wear and we use it to play out in the snow. It keeps him warm and dry. The only reason I would not recommend this product is if your kid likes to bite on stuff animals and rip the fur off, they would probably like to chew on this jacket too; he likes to bite on this jacket.
