    Would not buy again

I bought this jacket as a light jacket to wear for softball. I've worn it once and hated it. I had a previous north face rain jacket that I loved, that was an older version of this jacket, but the interior coating was starting to desinagrate. After wearing this during one inning I was sweating and uncomfortable within 5 minutes of wearing it in 20° weather. No breathability at all. I took it off and just got wet instead. Also the pockets are in a terrible spot and on a very odd angle to get anything in or out. It was waterproof that's the only reason I gave a second star

No, I do not recommend this product.

Love this rain jacket! First I love the green colour. The fit is awesome. I’m 5’2” and ordered small. Wore it last weekend in rain and it is perfect. I hood and high zip neck is helpful. I love North Face.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Wore this jacket while hiking through a BC thunderstorm for 3 days and stayed completely dry.

This jacket is so light weight while also serving as nice windbreaker. Love to bring it with me on hikes and to wear it out in spring-fall especially if it's really sunny/hot and I don't want to burn or when there's showers or drizzly rain. It keeps me super dry and has nice deep pockets.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Perfect Rain Jacket

I love the color. The jacket looks just like the picture and is true to size. If you're just looking for a rain jacket, it's perfect. However, it will not keep you warm without a fleece or hoodie underneath.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

I haven't worn it yet. It's too wrinkly and if I fold it it gets more wrinkly.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Don't like the pockets.

I hate the pockets. They are slanted and hard to reach. Contortions are required to use them. Otherwise, I like the jacket. I use it over fleece and it is good in almost any weather.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Great Rain Jacket, Not for Sports

I was torn between 3 and 4 stars but ultimately chose 4: it's not the product's fault that my search for "women's running rain jacket" yielded this product. I hoped to obtain a breathable jacket for running in the pouring PNW, but this coat was not meant for any heavy activity. As a rain jacket, as advertised, it's great: the hood fits very nicely over my head and does a great job keeping the water out. However, because the material doesn't breathe very well, walking with it for a prolonged time under pouring rain will eventually cause lots of sweating, especially around the sleeves. As a running jacket, despite what the search results yield, it is not suited for the sport at all: it's not packable (which, I admit should have been my first clue!), it's not breathable, and though light for a rain coat, it is heavy for sports. Buy this jacket for anything other than sports!

    Yes, I recommend this product.
