The North Face Women’s Aphrodite Shorts

I purchased these 3 years ago and absolutely love them so I bought 3 more. The new ones appear to be a little bit smaller but maybe I just need to break them in. I'm still very happy to have them. It seems difficult to find shorts without elastic waist bands that I like. That's why I love these!

Love them but they ran a little tight on me. I sized up. Returns online easy but can exchange in 1 step.

I've purchased 3 pairs of these shorts over the past 6 years, and they are my go-to for hiking and backpacking. I am 5'7" 130 lbs, rectangle body shape, and wear a size small for a slightly loose fit. The waistband is a fairly soft, stretchy fabric and is good for wearing with a backpack hip-belt (no buttons/snaps/belt loops to rub). During thru-hikes and long days of wearing a backpack, the ribbed texture of the waistband does rub a little uncomfortably on my hip bones (easily solved with a bit of Leukotape). The water-repellent shorts fabric is very lightweight, breathes well, and packs down well. 4-star rating accounts for sizing inconsistencies between years and colors. This seems to be a problem with many companies that manufacturing products in multiple locations, as may be the case with North Face. Otherwise, I LOVE these shorts!

I bought these shorts in the past and loved them so much I wanted more. The new ones I bought felt tighter in the waist band, but then stretched out comfortably.

I have several pairs of the Aphrodite Motion shorts. These are not the “Motion” shorts, and I find that the waistband is tighter on this version, Otherwise, they are soft and fit fairly well.

So cuteee the only thing I'd say is make then a tad longer because they tend to slide up

Fits smaller than the Aphrodite Motion shorts. Should have sized up. Was accidentally sent the long size which was actually better than the regular but still too small.
