The North Face Women's Heavenly Down Jacket

I love the color of this coat. The pockets are all in the right places, it's comfortable & very warm. I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was looking for a coat that was very similar to the Corefire Down Women's coat that I greatly loved and enjoyed, but needed a new coat for the upcoming winter. This coat is exactly what I was looking for!

I bought this coat 10 years ago. I hesitated. It was on liquidation at sport expert. And i decided to buy it. Its my daily coat. I live in a metropolitan city. I work downtown and commute with bus and metro. I walk 20 minutes. We have bitter cold winters and very mild winter days. This coat is awsome. Its just amazingly light for its warmth. In extreme colds i need to wear a long sleeve over my work clothes. But in normal winter and mild winter days i just wear a short sleeve shirt. It keeps the wind out. It never has gotten me wet when im caught in wet snow. I can move freely. I have been pregnant 2 times and wore a coat extender. I have carried my babies in this with the extender. Moving has never been an issue. Its a short coat so going sliding is not super fun but i never used the powder skirt. The storage room has always been frustrating as the pockers are not deep and the one inside pocket big enough does not have a zipper. But this new model the pockers are deeper and the inside pocker does have a zipper and its enough for my phone. The outside pocket has a zipper. So no more loosing my stuff. Im not a cold person. I tolerate cold well but not humidity. This coat is the only one i want for 10 years. :) I highly recommend it if you want light, breathable and simple
