The North Face Women's Venture 2 2.5L Rain Jacket

Great waterproof jacket. Held up to buckets of rain. Love the armpit zips for extra ventilation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have twelve of this jacket, 3 shades of purple, 3 shades a pink, 1 bright yellow, 1 bright orange, royal blue, EAGLES green, white and mustard yellow. Enough said! DO NOT ever get rid of this jackets. The pit zips are one of the top things I LOVE. These are the perfect spring windbreaker/ rain jacket and can be packed into a tiny little pouch. I love the way the hood fits with a baseball hat under.

My old North Face raincoat's seams were disintegrating, and The North Face sent me an e-gift card that covered this lovely replacement raincoat. I haven't tested the coat out yet in the field this winter for real, but will certainly use it this spring and summer. Fits well and looks and feels like standard North Face quality -- it should last!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in the south and we get a lot of rain and cold weather. This jacket suits my need as I don't like big, bulky items. I originally bought it for myself, but my "special needs" daughter apparently loved the color and kept eyeballing it so I gave it to her after I only wore it twice. She thinks she is something g special wearing it (she really is). It has good pockets and it's very roomy. The size fits perfectly as ordered to my normal size. You can pull the cord to make it tighter around the waist if desired so no cold air or rain will enter.
