Great weight/ pack size. not

Great weight/ pack size. not flimsy. Not noisy like some of the competition. Inflation sack is actually faster than the oldskool thermarests, once you get the hang of it -even more so if you have a sideways breeze running.
For my back, the neo air design is not too far off, but slightly less comfy than the old school self inflating thermarests. But totally worth it for the weight/size advantage.

So crinkly and loud.

I was so excited about this sleeping pad, it packs so small and light. But after one night I can easily say it's the most uncomfortable pad I've ever used. There are barely any reviews stating just how loud and crinkly it sounds too. Please don't spend your money on this pad unless you really need one that packs small.

Great pad for the price. Almost identical to my old NeoAir Trekker...only complaint is that it's smaller. Newer valve is very good! Inflation sack is a game changer.

It Crinkles!

It makes Noise! When Ever it is moved, shifts, layed upon, slept on, Touched! It Crinkles and Crackles like a bag of potato chips being Crunched up.
I HATE IT!!
When I sleep outside I crave Silence (except for the Night Sounds).

Incredibly loud!

I wanted to be able to use this with my Therma=rest which it is approved for but it was not at all comfortable and is very loud. It sounds like there is cellophane inside. I tried it just lying down on it as well and there is no way people in a tent would be able to sleep. Even the slightest movement was loud. I returned

I would never buy this product again

I am disappointed. I bought this sleeping pad four months ago and started to use it on the Pacific Crest Trail on last April. I did not use it on the whole period and still two days ago I would always woke up on the ground on a deflated mattress. Afters hours on checking any tiny hole and putting it in the water I've found a micro spot and used the repair kit but nothing have worked. I am now on the trail in the middle of nowhere and nothing to sleep on :(

Easy to carry, can be used for shoulder season backpacking

Inexpensive for what it is, R1.8 is definitely summer but could be used for spring in some regions. Used this in 2C Deg for a few nights, I wasn't cold, but definitely cooler to the touch versus my coupled NeoAir All Season (R4.9). Packs well, and light enough to carry easily.

Great Mattress

I purchased the Neoair Venture mattress for a 4 day hike through the White Mountains, and it worked great. I'm a side sleeper and never felt any part of my body digging into the ground. I should mention that I'm only 5' 6"" and 142 lbs. This mattress is a great bargain. You can find something that's lighter and warmer, but you'll pay a lot more. Some of the other mattress's I looked at made an awfully loud crinkling noise when you move around on them. The Neoair Venture is much quieter. I was also very happy with the pack size. The weather only just got down to the upper 40's so I can't really speak to how warm the mattress is, but I had no issues at high 40's. I attached a photo that shows the Neoair Venture in it's bag next to a Nalgene bottle for comparison. All in all, this is a comfortable mattress, lightweight, small pack size, with a great price. It's also made in the USA; can't go wrong with that.
