Love the pad. Kept my back nice and warm and I found it fairly quite even with the foil interior for r-value

Great pad but the pump sack is kinda small for large size.

This is a great sleeping pad! It's very warm and yet packs very small. I have recommended this product to family and friends.

I got a new xtherm to replace an old one that leaked. The pad is excellent but the pump sack is all but useless. I almost failed to connect it to the pad in the warmth of my home. I can't see how it would be possible to do it in cold temperature with gloves or mittens on. Thermarest needs to get back to the drawing board on this one. Five stars for the pad, zero for the pump sack.

Besides the expected krinkle chip bag sounds these make, they are very warm and comfy and light.

In preparation for my week long trip to Kungsleden, Kebnekaise, Sweden I testet the pad BUT when using the pumpsack virtually no air came into the pad. I expected more…

I just slept out for 3 nights, winter camping at about 15 degree nighttime lows. I used a tyvek sheet as my groundcloth, and then just this neoair xtherm sleeping pad and my oberon 0 degree sleeping bag (no tent). The pad kept me warm- I felt no cooling from beneath, which I'm pretty surprised about. I'm a very cold person, always struggling to stay warm, and this was some of the most pleasant cold weather camping experiences I've had. Meanwhile, I've scrapped the accompanying pump sack, as it's a complete joke. Some people comment that it doesn't stay attached- that's not usually a problem for me. However, it's a thick nylon, which is very heavy and takes up a lot of space, I don't understand why that material was selected. Even worse, it doesn't do its job - air easily squeezes through the loose-knit fabric. I try to give rapid squeezes to instead direct the air through the port, but I've tried many times and I've never successfully filled the sleeping pad with the pump sack- it just doesn't push air into the pad. I'm interested in the Blockerlite Pump Sack as it looks like it might actually direct air into the pad due to its sealed fabric nature. But I also am not willing to pay such a ridiculous price for it- what a ripoff after the accompanying one clearly fails! I'm concerned about the longevity of the pad, especially at colder temperatures- with using my breath to inflate the pad, as moisture obviously accumulates inside. I'd prefer not to continue doing that, so we'll see if I can find a better long term solution. I've got sil nylon fabric and I might just make my own ultralight, waterproof, pump sack with the current nozzle attachment for a fraction of the cost of the Blockerlite, but will hopefully work just as well. Pad deserves 5 stars but due to the pathetic pump sack I'm giving it 4.

It's very good and comfortable. There is some air loss each night...normal?
