Awesome product reduces mosquitos by 90% or more in a 15-20ft radius... works great no more little butane containers to buy 1 large can of butane lasts 1-2 seasons!

To put in sack, keep it right side up

Backpacker Mosquito Repeller: Heard some say it not fit in its sack. But it does, just do no insert it upside down in the bag, just keep it right side up, narrower end downward, easier way in. Then once you get to the wide top, gently wiggle the sack over it, and so easy does it all slide in softly. It's so/that easy. I like it when I cannot use or depend on skin, clothing or body chemicals, net or incense, and when I cannot use a battery version.

New model not as good as the old

Bought two of the original thermacell when they first came out. They worked perfectly and kept the mosquitoes away. This hunting season I bought a new one after the bottom that covers the butane, broke. The new model does not heat up enough and DOES NOT keep mosquitoes away. I got eat up. The next morning I used my old one and it again worked flawlessly minus the bottom cover.

This is a lifesaver! We had an older version from 5+ years ago and still works perfectly! With a 10x20 deck and lots of company we decided we should get a 2nd one for each table. Cartridges work in both, filters are slightly different now, but still can fit in the old one. A couple of FYI’s, don’t forget to turn it off 😅 and cartridges are not allowed on aircraft both in carry on & checked bags. (husband was going to take it to a Northern fishing trip, but sadly had to leave it behind😟) Refills seem a bit pricey, but definitely worth it!

I use them for early fall deer hunting, I am able to sit in my deer blind all day long without a mosquitto, just a reminder, pad need to be replaced every 2 hours

Does Not Work and Overpriced

Bought it for camping witj our dogs. While we were walking, mosquitoes were following us and got bitten multiple times on the neck close to where the device is. Obviously, does not work.
