Well made- a great pair of boots

My son wanted these as an alternative to a winter boot. They fit great, look good and have held up in the snowy elements so far! A worthwhile purchase, for sure.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good for the money, not the most comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear these on long trail walks and find that no matter how thick of a sock I wear or how tight I tie them they still rub blisters on the bottom of my feet. I feel these shoes are wider at the toe vs the heel as I have not gotten any blisters at all on the normal areas. I've considered that they just need breaking in, but after 10 plus long walks they still do the same rubbing.

Hurts my foot!

I wear size 7 so sometimes I bought the kids ones. I have been buying Timerland's for 20 years and in the recent years I feel the quality has been slipping - boot cracks/breaks within 1 year. These boots felt a little rigid and loose (height) in the first half. One day into wearing this pair my big toe socket started hurting (but fine if I switch to other shoes/boots). I thought then just need to be worn in - so I kept going, and I had pain every time I wore them. Now it's so much worse, after having to wear them for weeks (rainy season), My toe socket pain becomes permanent even I switch shoes. I do NOT recommend this pair and I will not buy them for my kids.

So good I bought them again

My son is on his second pair of these boots after growing out of the first pair. They are waterproof enough for Vancouver but more comfortable than a rubber boot and they are tough enough to stand up to everyday use.

Good but expensive

[Employee of fgl] Shoes seems to be fine but expensive for a kid who will use them for a couple seasons.
