Our Timberloop™ Trekkers are specifically designed for circularity. These hikers have a unique sole construction where with a cut of one seam, the outsoles can be taken off and each part ultimately put into its own unique recycling stream. To help close the ‘loop,’ this new construction method lessens the chemical-based cements used and the removable sock booties are made using ReBOTL™ fabric of 100% recycled plastic.

  • Better Leather from a tannery rated silver by the Leather Working Group for its water, energy, and waste management practices

  • Lightweight OrthoLite® footbed for all-day comfort

  • Midsole of EVA-blend foam for high-rebound cushioning

  • ReBOTL™ fabric lining containing at least 50% recycled plastic

  • 100% recycled PET laces

  • Design for circularity with removable sole-stitched construction for a second life

    I purchased these because of the design and the color combination. The feel is great! Walking all over NYC was manageable with this shoe. NOTE: Runs big, so I wish I'd purchase an 8 instead of 8.5.

    I adore these shoes! They are light & comfortable! Got a random compliment on them the first day I wore them! My only complaint would be the scissors printed on the sneakers. It takes away from the style. I love that they are built to be sustainable!

    I support the effort to be more sustainable but this show is poorly designed, hard to get on, and does not support my feet. I am really disappointed and would not recommend.

    Purchased size 8 (boots felt large at the end of the toe box, uncomfortable arch support), also purchased size 7.5 (toes fit better but still uncomfortable in the arches). Also made my ankles feel unstable. Beautiful shoes but I will be returning both pairs.
