Toko Eco Skin Proof 100 ml

Easy to apply and seems to keep skins from accumulating snow or icing up in moist or new snow conditions. I've been using this on my nordic (Salomon) mo-mix skins, as well as my alpine touring (Black Diamond) nylon skins and both have been easy to keep clear of snow or excessive moisture, which tells me it is doing something to improve water repellency. Hard to tell if it significantly improves glide, as the larger nylon AT skins have so much drag and friction noise I doubt any treatment could change that. Maybe for the small nordic mo-mix skins it makes a difference, but they are relatively quite and guide well by design and I'm not a good enough skier to tell the difference. The one con with this product, as with many similar products, is the cost. Small volume in an aerosol bottle means high cost per mL, so this is expensive treatment and likely needs frequent application due to it's Eco formula. Offering a larger volume option to both cut down on the relative costs of the packaging versus the product, and provide better value to customers would be an improvement and reason for my 4 star rating, as Eco isn't just about the chemicals inside Toko.
