Know your feet before getting these.

I have been around the hockey skates fitting game for the last 20 years. What pro shops will never ever tell you to fit a skate properly you need the following, not just the toe to heel measurement. 1. first metatarsol alighnment, big bone of the big toe. they have to line up to the widest part of the skate because it represent your arch. It is also part of the "First Ray." for some folks where this area is flexible, it throws their foot function and their balance out the window. I went to many hockey shop where they want to size you down so your toe brush the end of toe cap. That is with the 50 years of skates fitting assumption that people have the same feet. kinda feet. What this end up doing is cramping your foot. You gotta be real picky with True's sizing since they have less tolerance than CCM/Bauer. 2. Ankle bone alignment, I measured size 8, went to 8.5, my anklebone and first metatarsol tell me i am a size 9. Why that matters? if you are 5mm forward, you miss the ankle padding, and since True's boot is anatomically designed, you need to take this into considertion. 3. Heat molding helps? commom myth is to think that entire skate shell will mold to your foot, NOT SO. off the shelf models only gives you interior space thats thermal formable, to have the shell accomodate hot spots, you will still need to punch them out physically.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Narrow and small!

Narrow and small! I used the size chart. Ordered the correct size. However I couldn’t get my feet into them. I don’t have wide feet at all. Definitely size WAY up with these. I had to return these unfortunately.
