Excellent Skates

Unreal skates. Had to come on to counter some of the negative reviews on here. I'm about 8 games in now and couldn't love them more. At first I wasn't too excited because I had to get used to them after being on my previous CCM Tacks for over 15 years. But once I got the blades profiled my game has legitimately improved, I feel like a new man out there. Once you bake them to your feet they fit like a glove.
Highly recommended, I don't think I'll ever not buy True skates going forward.

Great warranty and fit

Long term review
Had these skates for 8 months.
They are super comfortable, they fit better than a running shoe once baked and formed. The responsiveness and connect feel to the ice is like nothing else I have tried. The negative aspect of the skate is their long term durability. The joints come unglued at the seams of vinyl to carbon fiber as well as the toe caps. The positive is True does offer a 12 month replacement warranty on the chassis of their skates. I give them a 5 on fit, feel and on ice responsiveness. 5 star 30 day review or 12 month warranty and a 2 star on the long term durability of this skate. The TF9 was much more durable, hopping the new line of True will last longer.

Amazing fit but…..

I bought these skates and couldn’t of been happier as the fit is amazing and feels like nothing I’ve never worn before. When the store took the blades out one blade was really warped when held up to the other blade and when put back into the holder you can clearly see that the holder was under stress from the bent blade. I contacted true warranty and they they said what you’d expect them to say “we will replace the blade”. I got some more advice from the guys at the pro shop and they said return them as they have had nothing but problems with this model.

Warped blades

Sadly, I have joined the family of the warped blade syndrome. Called online sales and they said basically to return them which I had to do. One blade was ridiculously bent and the other slightly. I couldn't believe the quality control for an otherwise excellent skate. Very sad that I had to return them as there was no replacement available in my size.

Good skate but still warped blades

Was hoping they this order was part of the new updated version without the warped blades. Unfortunately both blades visibly bent, right worse than the left. Skate boot is great but my 13 year old is fussy and didn’t like the toe box feel. Returned for full refund. Only way to try it was to buy it which sucks but the return policy was great.
