My daughter loves these skates and this will be her second pair. Only issue I see is they come from the factory with the boots very closed up. My daughter couldn't even get her foot in them even tho they were about a size up from fitting her perfectly. But after baking they became super moldable and now fit like a pair of custom skates. Didn't think twice about buying her another pair. But for someone shopping in store, not being able to get your foot in the boot prior to baking would be a show stopper I believe. Probably why these seem to always be on sale.

Custom skates, without the custom price.

Honestly, I think they’re the best deal out there right now. We picked up a pair for my son (he plays competitive rep hockey) for $120, and I was seriously impressed. At that price point, nothing else comes close in terms of value. One important thing though: you have to bake them. When my son first tried them on, they felt good, but once we baked them, we realized they were actually about half a size too big. So heads-up—make sure you size carefully and don’t skip the bake. After baking, they really form to the foot and feel amazing. Performance-wise, he’s loving them. Great speed, control, and they feel super light on the ice. He noticed the difference right away, especially with his agility and edge work. As for durability, they’ve lasted him about a season and a half before he needed to size up, which seems fair for how hard he plays and how fast he grows. All in all, I’d 100% recommend these—especially for competitive players who want high-level skates without spending $400+. Total hidden gem.
