UA Storm technology repels water without sacrificing breathability and the expandable center-front waistband is water-resistant and will keep your phone secure without bouncing. The 4-way stretch moves with you in every direction, the soft knit waistband adds comfort, and the left side pocket is designed to fit a packable vest internally or externally for easy carry. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been running since I was a kid and this is the first time I've put money into a specialized running pant, and glad I did. They've been perfect for runs down to -5 C (hasn't been colder since I've purchased). Front waistband pocket works great for cell phone, but so does right media pocket. No swishing sound from material while running. But pay attention to sizing chart. Medium is my size for length and waist, but found its tight on hips while putting them on. Never had this in a pant in the past (6'0, athletic build), but also never thought to measure before. Next ones I'll have to try large and hope they're not too long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the texture and feel of these, sizing is pretty spot on, the fit is not loose at all but not skin tight either. Love the zippered pockets and how the zipper itself is in a fixed position.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) These pant performed exactly as advertised. Waterproof in the rain and warm. The Speed Pocket in the front works well but is a little smaller than I expected. I have an iPhone 6 with a otterbox cover and it just fits. I don’t think a larger phone would fit. Also I ordered a small and I feel they are tight. I can wear them with light-weight long underwear. I may order the Med later on.

The best light weight training pants

These are very versatile, under-rated pants. They are trim fitting along the whole calf, which is why the ankle zipper is very handy, but loose enough at the thigh for no movement restriction. Built to handle high intensity performance. I am an avid runner and found them perfect for training in cool temperatures. These can handle tempo training runs, distance long runs, and sprinting on the track. Plus they're perfect as a warm-up pant pre race or any sporting event (ankle zipper allows you to remove pants without taking off spikes or cleats). Shorts, tights, 1/2 tights all fit underneath and you will stay comfortable. Speedpocket always performs without issue as I have several other shorts and tights with that feature. The Outrun The Storm Pants work well for stretching or even wearing casually. I am 6 feet tall, 170 lbs, 31" waist, lean build, wear medium.
