Very tight leggings, constricting the hips

I bought a size small. My measurements are around 37 inch hips/size 4 jeans, and I am quite lean. I am normally a size small in leggings, small in every other brand fits well and I even have a pair of mediums (firm abs brand) that fit but are loose so I am fairly confident I'm a size small. I found these leggings to be fitting like a size XS or even XXS. Not stretchy fabric, it is breathable, it is well constructed otherwise, but these are not leggings I can wear comfortably to the gym as they are highly constricting particularly around the hips. I gifted them to my mom instead, who can wear a size XS, and even on her these were particularly tight and unforgiving around her hips as well... so beware of the sizing issue, go a size up maybe two sizes up even.
Otherwise, these are suitable for those women who are truly tiny, athletic, and skinny.

Quality has gone down

These have always been my favorite. I wear them almost everyday. But my last few pair have been getting holes early on. These are less than 3 months old!

Motion Leggings

I have several pairs of UA leggings for the gym, all size large, so I was surprised to find that these were very tight, especially in the knee area. I was able to work out in them, but the compression is going to take some getting used to--particularly when bending. I had to check to make sure I hadn't ordered the wrong size!

I really like UA leggings in general. I find them flattering and comfortable. I bought my regular size, medium, and these fit quite a bit tighter than my other UA mediums. (Reference im 5’8, 140 lbs) I don’t mind the tight fit, I’m guessing they’ll stretch out a bit over time. I will say they don’t slip down as you’re working out, so a plus there! I just won’t be wearing them on days im super bloated!
