The oversized 3D Sidestripe and fat, chunky laces give off the ultimate throwback vibe that pairs perfectly with baggy jeans or cargos. Comfort-wise, the extra-padded puffy tongue and plush collar make them feel incredibly secure and cozy around your ankles right out of the box. They fit true to size, though they might feel just a tiny bit snug in the toe box at first because of all that thick, premium suede padding. They soften up beautifully after just a couple of wears. Ripped out in the same area on two pairs

My son has gone through two pair, and no longer skates, so these were not abused in any way. Both pair ripped in the same place. The eyelet panel ripped all the way across the bottom. I don't mean at the sole, strictly the narrow eyelet panel. The first time it happened we figured it was a fluke. We just ate it and bought another pair. Same issues, panel ripped after three months. Poorly designed and constructed. Avoid.
