With Vans expanding to include more functional footwear, it's a shame that whole sizes are not available, especially for UltraRange. The women's 10.5 fit perfectly in every way but length; there was far too much room for my toes and I had to downsize to the 9.5, which fits in length but is unfortunately too tight in all other aspects. Hopefully with a little more wear to break them in, they'll be comfortable enough to slip into. It's just an ongoing frustration when I know that a women's 10 would be THE perfect fit. The only other concern I have with this specific style is the quality of the stitching along the tongue. Because the shoes are initially quite snug, I needed to completely loosen the laces to get my foot in; then when it came time to pull the tongue up, I heard the unmistakable sound of a stitch tearing, and sure enough a few stitches had come loose. If you do buy these shoes, be mindful that they're made a little more delicately than your average runner; and if you're between sizes or generally unsure, try them on in-store first.

The shoe’s color has begun to fade from the inner tongue. The blue color of the interior material has faded, causing the surrounding white areas to turn blue. Additionally, I have worn the shoes for only about 10 minutes, and they have caused a significant shoe bite on the back of my foot above the heels. The material used at the back of the shoe (the very one above the heel) is exceptionally hard and sharp.
