    I bought these out of impulse just to have something to beat up on with various terrain and weather at a music festival (Lost Lands)… the price is extremely steep for a pair of vans but I was actually blown away with the quality and comfort. There were torrential downpours, flooding and mud… LOTS of mud. These kept my feet dry every single day regardless of what was thrown at them. I watched people slip and slide through the mud while I could effortlessly walk without a concern of losing my balance. The arch support is minimal but comfort is top notch, never got into my tent with sore feet after being in a crowd for hours on end (true to size). Got home and cleaned them up looking brand new with little effort. I don’t write reviews nor have I ever spent this much on shoes and been willing to put them through a blender while surviving with ease. Highly recommend if you can afford.

    just ordered my second and third pairs of these. absolutely love them. first pair lasted just about a year through severe abuse. delivery driver doing about 7/10 miles of walking m-f in every type of weather you can imagine. the water proofing quit a couple of months ago but still pretty comfortable for daily use as long as it was not wet. thats why i snagged 2 this time.

    At first I thought these were great but after wearing them for a few months the support completely collapsed. Not to mention the waterproofing/ gortex is questionable as it was fine in light rain but walking in puddles and snow my feet got wet and drying these boots after saturation is an issue. I have also experienced the same issues with the lace hooks as mentioned in other comments.

    No, I do not recommend this product.
