    Perfect

Beautiful color way, amazing balance, great feel. I used this racket only after my first, the Head Speed, and could instantly tell it was what I’d use for the rest of my tennis career.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

I have gone from the ProStaff to the Burn to the Blade to the Clash to this new Shift between the 1980's and now. I loooooooooooooove the Shift. My husband put soft string in for me at mid tension and my sensitive golfer's elbow (I am now 51yrs) is doing ok. It is has the comfort of the Clash 98, the feel of the ProStaff. Not sure how it was figured out, but it is a keeper:) I have students that are also loving it and purchasing their own (8th grade intermediate players looking to play in high school). Thank you Wilson, for years of beautiful equipment:)

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Tried Pro Staff V13 and Blade 98 V8, currently using Shift 99 V1 for several months. I love it!! Control, power and spin are sensational!! Tried Champion's Choice Duo Tennis String, Yonex Polytour Spin, Yonex Polytour Drive and Tecnifibre Black Code, now using Revolve Twist. Great combination!!!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Was a good racket for about a couple months until it slipped out of my hand one time during a serve and the frame smashed and graphite flew out of it

No, I do not recommend this product.

Of late I've been hitting with a Clash Tour V2 for the last year or so, before that the Clash Tour V1. First off I'd like to thank Wilson for making the Clash line, without that racket, I wouldn't be able to play nearly as much as I do because of my tennis elbow issues. Since I started playing with those rackets on a scale of 1 to 10, my pain is a 1. I can play tennis regularly, taking hundreds of reps on a ball machine no problem. That being said, I just got the Shift and for me it's a total game changer. Without a doubt it's in the Clash family, like driving a sports car, fast and fun! I tend to hit flatter so I struggle with generating spin and keeping it on the court, it REALLY does generate more spin! I was able to consistently hit kick serves for the first time in my life!! Again thank you Wilson for everything you've contributed to tennis and pushing the limits of what's possible with racquets.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

I demoed this racquet after trying a few others ( Wilson Clash, Babolat Pure aero, Babolat Pure Strike, Wilson Ultra) but this one really stuck out to me. After playing with it I could feel great balance on my serve and spin shots. Great racquet.

The first time I tried it, felt a little different… but once you go back to your original racket, you miss it too much to continue, and you switch back to this. It might be the future of tennis…

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Coming from clash I have the project shift 99 which is virtually the same as the 99 v1, and I have to say it does excel at power, spin and comfort as advertised. I used hybrid blast / vs natural gut at only 50lbs each and the power is ridiculous. I will have it restrung at 58lbs next time bc a lot of shots are going out. But my serve game is significantly faster and the kick serve is vicious when it connects to the ground. The spin from this makes the clash look like a toy. The comfort is on par with the clash, which of course is the best comfort Wilson offers - it’s very easy on the elbow. It really has the perfect swing too, just pick it up and it feels right with the right amount of head light swing weight. I love it. The color is the best I’ve seen on a racket too - you almost want to perfect it with the right color strings to match, but I opted for black. I’m sad to see my clash go, it has done me well and I thought I’d never trade it in, but when I get on the court I can’t help it - the clash feels like a wooden racket compared to the shift, Aside from the hybrids at high tension, I would recommend getting black grip tape as the white looks dirty after a couple games.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
