Lots of pockets and the function of zippers makes it unique from other jackets. It also have shoulder belt, so you can carry your jacket without holding them in hand. I gifted my husband. And he loves it.

Annoying questions

I'm happy with the purchase. It's very warm and comfortable. I have a question: on the outer op left pocket, there's an object which is attached to the inner pocket. An anti-theft device? How do I remove it?

Woods makes excellent parkas!

This is the best parka among all the offerings checked out including L.L. Bean, Eddie Bauer, Atmosphere etc. The design features are the best of all parkas reviewed, materials utilized are excellent and finish detailing is very high quality. Previous parkas have been Eddie Bauer but now I am sold on Woods products.

Love this jacket!

Bought it around boxing day for a decent sale, and unfortunately it got burnt in our shop.
Immediately knew I was gonna buy another one, which I did.
This jacket is incredible! Warmest jacket I've ever owned by a long shot, built incredibly well, pockets galore with all the bells and whistles.
Highly recommend this to anyone who is going to have to deal with cold below -5

Perfect for Extremely Cold Temperatures

This jacket checks almost all the things I was looking for:
- Comfort
- Durability
- Warmth (have worn it during -14c temperature with just a t shirt underneath and it kept me extremely warm, I was pleasantly surprised)
- Length
- Sleeve design
I believe fur lining on the hood and option for detachable hood could've made it perfect BUT I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase, especially because this was way cheaper but better than higher end brands I tried (North Face, Columbia). I bought it on boxing day sale for 240 CAD.
Being new to Canada, I did extensive research and bought these after trying out several other brands (North Face, Columbia, etc. But, this one stood out and I was pleasantly surprised to realize that its price was significantly lower.
I also got Woods shoes and love them too. I'm Woods fan from now on :)

Canadian jacket for coldest winters & great value

Warm, comfortable, heavier weight than most down jackets, yet offers a robust and resilient down jacket for -20/-30c weather, outside shell fabric is robust, zipper is strong, snaps instead of Velcro is appreciated. Fit wise, although I wear a 44 suit jacket, the size guide says 42-44 “ for men’s Medium, but it didn’t fit me, so bought the men’s large, which the size guide says is for 46” size shoulders. The shoulders are fit on the side large and not too wide, not enough space for many other layers due to its more narrow fit. Thankfully more layers are likely not needed as it’s such a warm jacket in its own. Solid jacket and warm, very good value and made by Woods, a Canadian company. In the current context, Canadian made jacket in a Canadian winter, is much appreciated. Strongly recommend for warmth, value , features, and for being Canadian. Great jacket. Be careful about the shoulders and buy a size larger than the size guide says, in my opinion.
