Super warm cold weather jacket with light down

I wanted a super warm jacket and this is it. It's filed with light and bulky down. It zips up right under my chin and the elastic sleeves and waste keep winds out. The hood is super and detachable but why would you want to remove. The only caveat is the hood blocks cold, wind and my view to the left and rights. At first I was ticked there was no inside pocket for my iPhone. The big pockets are outside. Then it got cold and I realized it's better not to unzip and let the cold in. Nice sleeve pockets for keys and small stuff. The zippered side pockets are in line with the side seam, which is slightly far back to the sides. I keep reaching for a more forward opening. They would be better forward from the seam so you don't have to reach so far back. I got the jacket on sale and bought 2 - one for working outside and one for going out to dinner, a concert, church. The jackets look like they will last. Time will tell.
