Wow, I'm really impressed with this jacket. It has all these little details, you just don't find very often. The only thing best pocket is perfectly places outside the zipper but under the placket, The inside pocket is big enough for a book or tablet and low down enough, it won't impede bending, The cuffs can be worn long or short, the waist drawstring is hidden beneath another placket. So many little features! The only thing they missed was to make the hood removable. It's a great coat, especially for the sale price. Can't wait for spring!

I love this coat. It's so well made; really nice detail and hardware. The fabric is waxed, but has a lovely, soft feet, not sticky or stiff at all. Not sure about water proof as haven't worn it in the rain, but it sure blocks the wind. But most importantly, the coat looks great on.

Opposite side snaps and way too oversized

I bought the green ivy size large on sale and usually wear between a medium and large. When I tried it on it is very oversized but the sleeves weren’t very long. I also noticed the snaps are on the opposite side of where they are normally located on women’s garments. With the oversized fit and opposite side snaps I felt like I was wearing more of a men’s military coat so I returned it. Maybe a medium would fit better, but the opposite side snaps would still bother me.

Looks like designer, functions like Woods

I can’t recommend this jacket enough! I’m 5’9” 145lb and medium fits slightly oversized which I like for layering - a light down jacket fits easily underneath. The sleeves fall past my wrist (but there are snaps to roll them up a few inches) and the length reaches my mid calf which is hard for me to find in a rain jacket. It is very water resistant and windproof. I plan to find out how to wax the canvas to make it even more waterproof. I love the pockets, including the secret inside pocket and the cell phone chest pocket. The waist can be tightened and the hood is adjustable. I’ve worn it to a nice restaurant as it looks much more expensive than it is yet also seems well-made enough to wear camping. It folds down surprisingly small but offers so much warmth and coverage for a tall woman. Thanks Woods for designing this beautiful piece - I will always go to Woods first for quality, thoughtful design and function.

Needs more secure pockets

This jacket is for lighter weather but I live in the Arctic and I layer it over a hoodie or sweater and it's perfect for fall. It's comfortable and the canvas type material feels durable, just wish it had zippers on the pockets. The inner pocket is a nuisance to get to because you have to unzip the coat to access it so there's no real way to carry your valuables, i.e., phone or wallet.

On trend layering jacket. Not water resistant.

Nice jacket with long sleeve length, adjustable toggles at waist. This jacket states it can be paired with Woods layering pieces but I was unable to figure out which pieces or how they join together. A good weight for a dry fall day. This jacket would not be water repellent.
