Woods raincoat

The coat was not the correct fit for me but I liked the colour. I was not aware it was not breathable and was able to find one that worked in the Helly Hanson line. This coat is 100% water proof and felt like the old style rain slickers. Not a fan of that material. Nice coat though. The employee was a big help and I appreciated her honouring the discount I had on the previous jacket.

Seam is coming apart on the first wear

The fact that the seam on the forearm arm has come apart on the first wear negates all the good things about this jacket. I like the colour, it has pit zips and it kept me pretty dry, but the quality is clearly lacking and I'll be contacting Sport Chek after my trip. So disappointing!

Not light weight

Jacket is fairly heavy compared to other brands like the North Face. I also don’t find it very breathable. It’s fine for a walk in the rain, but I wouldn’t use it for backpacking.
