I bought this as a transitional jacket from fall to winter and I ended up wearing it all winter. Even more than my Canada Goose. 10/10 recommend this product :)

Great coat but name is misleading

Repels water well, love the light weight, fit, thumb holes, and hood flaps (keeps my hair dry). When out walking, I find it runs as warm as my down-filled coat though, and it’s not breathable. I would classify this as a waterproof winter coat, not an early spring rain coat.

I find winters in Toronto are getting wetter, so you need a jacket than can handle wet snow and rain, and is also warm. This jacket is ideal for that combo. I returned the beige one for the black jacket. I like the jacket as it is lightweight and soft and very comfortable. In future, I would look for a jacket, where the insulated layer could be removed. This jacket does not have that option.
