YETI Hopper Flip 8 Waterproof Soft Cooler Bag

Great little cooler for the Sunday drive or even a hardy man’s lunch. So well built.

I’ve had this for a little over a year, using it as a lunchbox for work. This morning, I had it on the steps of our 2022 Peterbilt truck, as I always do. But this morning I didn’t put it inside the truck before it started to back out. It fell off and got ran over by this 50,000lb truck. The contents didn’t make it, and the zipper separated from the pressure. Popped like a balloon. But we were able to get the zipper back around and lined up, sprayed it down with the water hose. GOOD AS NEW. I love this cooler

Great bag I love it I use it for my lunch bag and it keeps my drinks cool all day wowza, I just don’t like the hopper flip 8 with the sidekick dry the sidekick dry has frayed my Hitchpoint strap on the hopper from the sidekick drys Velcro which overlaps the Hitchpoint strap on hopper and scratched it but besides that it’s the best gear/lunch adventure bag ever!. I love the design, love the rugged, outdoorsy look it has. The hopper flip 8 is really good by itself.

I have owned a lot of Yeti products, and it is rare that there is a product I don't like, so it was no surprise that I loved this one too. I have owned my Hopper Flip 18 for a couple years, and absolutely love it. That cooler was a bit large for keeping in the car for our post hike refreshments, so I opted to get a smaller version. At first I was a little concerned about the size, but it is perfect. Typically after a hike I like to have a couple waters, Gatorades, and some beer for my wife and I. This cooler fit that perfect, while still being able to hold enough ice to keep things cold for the day. Typically our hikes are at least an hour drive, plus 8+ hours on the trail. So being locked in a hot car for that amount of time, I was not sure the ice would hold. However, it did perfectly. There have been a ton of reviews about the ice melting before the end of the day, so I am not sure what people are doing. But on an 80+ degree day, locked in the back of a car (obviously hotter) for 9 hours, I still had plenty of ice, with minimal melt. The photos attached are prior to loading in Jeep, and after we got back from our hike.. The ice has barley moved. You just need to remember NOT to put warm beverages in a cooler then toss the ice on. Also Ice is cheep. No need to only throw a few cubes in. Pile that ice in, and you are good to go..

This was a birthday gift and an excellent one at that. This product is very high quality and easy to use.
