Waste of money

I purchased this November 7, 2025. I purchased the smallest one. It’s still brand new. I keep it in the back of my four wheeler. It was raining this weekend. I went to use it since I hadn’t used it before opened it up and it won’t shut back. Keep in mind this is brand new and it will not lock back, shut/close whatever you want to call it!
No, I do not recommend this product.

This would be a great case if not for two major design flaws. We have had two of the clips on the strap break the first time we’ve used them. It is made very poorly. Not typical YETI quality. Latch is also very finicky. Most of the time it’s closed on itself and then you have to hit the button to open it before it will latch shut . It just doesn’t feel like a finished YETI product yet.

This box is a tough little guy. The only problem I have is it could be a tiny bit bigger to accommodate a slightly larger set of keys or wallet. With my phone in the tray I can barely fit anything under the lid. Not sure what that little feature was designed for with the rubber netting under the lid. Other than that it is perfect and it will get a lot of use in my kayak and boat.

I am happy with go box gear box, it is small but well made. It has a good latch and the seals are heavy duty, it is a bit heavy but no concern about durability. I gave it 4 stars because it isn’t lockable which I think would have been nicer. The King Crab Orange is very bright so will be hard to miss.
