YETI Rambler® 18 oz Water Bottle with Chug Cap

I bought this for my granddaughter. She loves it. It fits into her backpack and has no color nor personalization.

It's a nice bottle. Hold temperature decently enough with a fair capacity (18 oz at least fits in cup holders). Outer coating is pretty durable and nice colors. Lid is easy to use. However... -2 stars for the gasket on the chug cap. Poorly designed in regards to maintenance. If you don't take it apart daily and wash it, it develops a bad mold stink that assaults you when you try to drink from it. Only ever used it for water and forgot it in my car one time, and that was all it took. Quite disappointed. Bought a replacement cap and hopefully I can keep the stink at bay, but this shouldn't be an such an issue with a premium product

I have had yetis in the past and loved them. I just ordered a blue waterbottle. I am very disappointed at how easily the paint chips and scratches, I took it in my kayak (like I have with my others in the past) and from it sitting in my cup holder on my kayak the paint chipped and stretched. But for functionality it does what I hoped and keeps my water ice cold for hours.
