Five Stars, Two Small Wishes

Love this French Press! I use it daily for well over a year with freshly ground coffee, and it consistently delivers a great cup.
I've seen other reviewers complain that the press doesn't squeeze out every last drop of water. My guess is that this is intentional, as it prevents grounds from being forced into the coffee, something I've experienced with other French presses. I get a clean cup with no grounds every time. The extra two teaspoons of "wasted" water seem like a small investment in a better cup of coffee.
It's also remarkably easy to clean and looks more or less like new.
If I have one wish, it's for a closure on the pouring opening to retain heat even longer. Given YETI's reputation for insulation, this seems like an oversight.
If I have one complaint, it's that the spout dribbles nearly every time I pour. Just a drop or two running down the front, but enough that I find myself wiping it after every pour.
Neither issue is a dealbreaker, and neither diminishes how much I enjoy using it. Nobody's perfect, and this French press still earns five stars from me!

Interior Enamel Chipping

We have had this product for about 2 months in our campervan and much like other reports we are getting chips in the enamel at the base of the unit. We have never used anything other than a sponge to clean this product so we know it's not induced by usage or cleaning.
Overall we liked the product but are concerned about the safety with enamel chipping so we've stopped using it and are seeking another product.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Good coffee, but does not keep it hot

Love the French press, but it does NOT keep the coffee hot. The large opening in the lid is partly to blame. YETI needs to figure out a maglock lid for the French Press. That would help maintain the temperature. For the cost of these to not keep your coffee hot is an issue.
I brew it with the mag safe lid, then switch to the press lid to pour. The mag safe lid is like the cups; it helps hold the temperature in the container.

Durability is questionable.

It keeps coffee hot, but my lid has gotten all cloudy, almost as if the plastic is breaking down. The customization that Yeti did was also engraved crooked.

Tres satisfait comme de tous les produits YETI que je possède
Par contre je l’ai reçue avec une petite brèche sur la poignée qui a certainement été remarquée lors de l’emballage, à ce prix et qualité je suis surpris qu’on me l’aie livrée brisée

Beautiful red French Press, but doesn't stay hot

I was so excited when I discovered that Yeti had a French Press...but then so disappointed that it didn't keep my coffee hot until the last drop as promised. Even with the double-wall vacuum insulation, the wide opening on the lid probably doesn't help!

Yeti French Press

I want to love this Yeti French press but the top is near impossible to get off. Even my husband who, has a lot more hand strength than I do, has a lot of difficulty. Very disappointed as I can’t use this if he’s not with me to help.

French press, the best

This product is excellent. I’ve experienced no dripping after pouring, so I suspect some users may simply need to adjust their pouring technique.
The temperature retention is outstanding and ideal for brewing French press coffee. Because of its insulated construction, it maintains a much more consistent brewing temperature than glass or other French presses, which can lose heat more quickly. The result is a smoother consistent cup of coffee every time. Highly recommend. Colour was perfect for our kitchen.
